In order to be able to provide industrial keyboards with optional connection to USB-ports, a PS/2 to USB - converter for the connection between keyboard and computer has been tested and
approved. Thus you are now able to decide individually which port of the computer you would like to use. Moreover, only 1 USB-port is occupied instead of 2 PS/2-ports. The PS/2 to USB- converter disposes of
two MiniDIN6-sockets on the input side for keyboard and mouse substitute devices, and of a USB-connector to the computer on the output side. It does not require a separate power supply and works under Windows
versions 98 and higher.
